Product of the Month- January 2012

This month we are featuring a skin care product that we cannot live without. It's a personal favorite of the Interlude Salon & Day Spa Staff as well as many of our regular clients.

For those of you who are not familiar with our skin care and cosmetics line, let us give you a little background on our private label line, OPTIMUM ESSENTIALS. We have been carrying this line since 1990. It is a professional brand that is comparable to Bobbie Brown, Bliss, Dermalogica, and Laura Mercier. These products are used by many of the freelance makeup artists in the field as well as aestheticians. The results truly speak for themselves.

MICRODERM CREAM SCRUB.   Especially necessary during these winter months.  Many clients over scrub or do not scrub enough.  Exfoliants are NOT created equal.  Any scrub wont "do" The texture and size of the bead is very important.  Big chunks of oatmeal or nuts does not slough away the devitalized flakes we accumulate, or fine surface debris.
Our clients that already use this product are encouraged to gently massage a nickel size over the entire face for a full 30 seconds.  Once a week should do the trick.  Pay close attention to the brow, nose crevices and chin.   The moisturizer and or makeup will then glide over the face with ease.
